1SGs NOTES
First I would like to thank all of our school supporters. There are so many of you that have sent school supplies and clothing I will not name you here. All the personell of the troop and I greatly appreciate you donations, which you have sent. The donations have greatly enhanced the friendship between the Kosovo people and the American forces serving in Kosovo. The supplies have also aided in the rebuilding of daily lives and hopes of the people of Kosovo.
Second, to those who have supported the American troops stationed in Kosovo, thanks for all you have done. For most of the soldiers in the armed forces are under the age of 25 and for the troop, this is the first deployment for most of them. They have been in Kosovo since November of last year and have missed every holiday from Thankgiving to Easter. They have also missed birthdays, weddings, funerals and so very much more. It all means the same to them as it does to you. The people who have supported the soldiers through E-mail messages, letters, baked goods, candy and so much more, we thank you. It really shows the soldiers and the people back home we have not forgotten them. This is the true spirit of American and what makes us a great nation. always giving and helping those in need is a great American trait. Again thank you all so very much.
Third, to the Family Support Group thanks for your continued support. The soldiers really enjoy the Easter baskets you made for them. You have all been through as much, if not more, then your deployed husbands. We appreciate all that you do to support us. The hardships that you all endure while we are deployed takes alot of strength and independence. You have all managed to do this and more. thank you for all that you do for your husbands and the soldiers of F-Troop.
Last, the troop continues to conduct missions in support of Task Force Falcon. All the soldiers have been performing thier duties to the utmost of thier abilities and I commend them for thier performance. I know that the family and friends of these young men and women are very proud of them. These young men and women live up to the 1st Infantry Division Motto, "NO MISSION TO DIFFICULT, NO SACRIFICE TO GREAT--DUTY FIRST".
